Suggestion about the items
When i search for items at an level range, i get a lot of generic items up!

example, generics like "Mighty Bronze Plate Gauntlets"
and "Mocking Bronze Plate Gauntlets" is the same item, xcept the +strength and the + taunt on the mocking one, why not create their own page for that, and just add the + stuff seperatly

example, instead of creating 2 pages with the same item, create one and show the differences on the same page, it is going to be very messy if you list all the generics of each level rank!

RE: Suggestion about the items
Suggestions:

#1: Have the site remember the previous 10 items that a registered user looked at so they can click on them at a glance without having to re-search for them. You could just have the names as hyperlinks in a list down the left hand side.

#2: Put a "Remember search settings" tick box so that the level range and rarity that the registered user selects, can be reused for other searches. Then also have a "Reset" button to clear the settings button as well.

Thanks for the feedback:

It seems that the generical nature of the items is not in the database, at least I dont see any template ID or whatever it may be called which shows to a base Item (I only see test base items which are unrelated).
Maybe I have overseen that....but my guess is that the generator tool for items is a layer on top of the database and passes the database the already generated items...so not much I can do about it I guess...

A classification on some reg-exp pattern is dangerous as unwanted items may fall into a class.

@Tordevil: Seem pretty decent ideas. Where exactly would you put those recent item lists? To the remember thing....I think I'll just set the search boxes initial state to the values of the last search which are passed over the URL.
